As Harris County District Clerk, my top priority will be ensuring the office is responsive and accurate to help keep out communities safe.
As District Clerk I'll Fight for Working People By:

Advocating for Increasing Jury Duty Pay
Specific Demographics - Hispanics, African Americans, Young Adults - are often being underrepresented in our Justice System. A Jury of our peers is a fundamental rights, and we deserve a district clerk who will fight for equitable representation.

Prioritizing User Friendly, Accessible Technology
I would expand easy-to-use online tools that allow residents to securely access their records, track case status in real time, and understand the stage of their filing. This supports our working families and reduces barriers to knowledge.

Transparency and Financial Accountability
Publishing clear, easy-to-read financial dashboards showing filing volumes, fees collected, and outstanding balances demonstrate government accountability to the people it serves. Strengthening internal audits will follow-ups ensuring problems are resolved.

Serving our communities with integrity, efficiency, and respect
The District’s Clerks Office isn’t about just pushing paperwork – it’s about serving our communities. Reducing barriers to justice by making it easier to serve on a Jury. Increasing passport fairs for families who face barriers to travel or identification. A system that moves too slowly impacts justice in our most vulnerable communities.
